Apart from rampant elitism and geekdom, the media world is riddled with the blinkered notion that movies are all about big buck budgets and flashy boy toy gadgets.

Whilst we at JUNK TV certainly encourage movie makers to lay their hands on as much technology and cash as they feel suits their own personal movie making style, we believe that a truly great movie idea knocked together on a camcorder and VCR is far more worthy than any glitch free blandness manufactured by an army of media-pros with more equipment than creativity.

We run screenings of ingenious new movies at The Sanctuary Cafe and other venues in Brighton UK, at festivals throughout Europe, on Amsterdam TV channel W139TV and wherever else we get the chance. The films we show are a mix of Buck In Fudgy's own home grown movies and others that get sent to us. Comedies, documentaries, absurdities, high budgets, low budgets, no budgets and quick flicks of every flavour.

We also run various courses and workshops aimed at de-mystifying the movie making process. These courses take the form of one or two day 'make a movie' workshops, digital editing workshops, 'how to build an edit suite' workshops etc. Our courses cost as little as £15 per day per person. We are always being asked about affordable editing facilities and for many developing movie makers this seems to be a real stumbling block. In recognition of the lack of any realistically priced editing access here in the South East of England we have decided to offer two of our edit suites for hire at incredibly low prices.
