Currently Off Air’ is the name of Junk TV & Buck in Fudgy’s monthly radio show and podcast. The show is a monthly sonic soup of dream pop, absurd comedy, spoken word and technical glitches concerning the looming end of radio wave transmissions. Currently Off Air is a follow on from the Radio Sqat Transmission Tapes from the late 1990s. The tapes were home to absurdist radio nonsense, a world of prank calls, ranting DJs, idiotic worldwide correspondents and ‘wrong’ radio. At any given moment, it sounded like a radio show but one where something wasn’t quite right.

Currently Off Air continues the nonsense but in a more subdued manner, suited to a late night slot. You can expect to hear future news from Brighton in the year 2020, a regular link up with the international Space Station, local correspondents reporting on events in Parallel Universes, spoken word pieces from around the world, and late night dream drones.
